Privacy & cookies

Updated 28 October 2026. This notice explains the information handled by this consultancy website and its booking links.

Who is responsible for this website?

Shyam Pitla operates this personal consultancy website. To raise a privacy question, contact Shyam through HR Digital Media or use the contact route in your booking confirmation if you have already booked.

Browsing the website

You can read this website and follow a booking link without accepting analytics. The website does not have a contact form or collect symptom information. The hosting provider may process technical access information, such as IP addresses, browser details and requested pages, to serve and protect the site.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose “Accept analytics”, this website loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-RF85WLLTXM). Analytics helps Shyam understand page visits, broad referral sources, service-link interest and clicks to the booking calendar. It may process cookie identifiers, device and browser information, and network information needed to provide the service.

This site uses consent as the basis for optional analytics. Google Analytics does not load before your permission. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and advertising user-data consent remain denied. This site does not install advertising pixels or session replay.

The site sends a page address without its query string or fragment, and strips paths and queries from the referral address sent to Google. Its custom events use fixed labels such as “hero” or “product-strategy”; they do not contain appointment details or free-text enquiries. Do not submit sensitive information through analytics or booking notes.

Google may process analytics information outside the UK. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for details.

Cookies and your choice

A preference called sp_analytics_consent_v1 is stored in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days so the site remembers your choice. When analytics is accepted, Google may set _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured here to expire after 180 days without extending that period on each visit. Analytics data retention is controlled separately in the Google Analytics property.

You can change your decision at any time using . Rejecting after accepting stops subsequent analytics collection, attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not delete data previously received by Google.

Booking a discovery call

Booking buttons take you to Microsoft Bookings. Microsoft receives the information you enter there, such as your name, email address, chosen time and any message. Shyam uses booking information to arrange the call, respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work. Information necessary to respond to your request may be processed to take steps before entering a contract.

The booking page is separate from this website. Read Microsoft’s privacy statement and any notice shown during booking. This website records a booking-button click only if analytics is accepted; it cannot see whether you complete the appointment booking.

Your choices and rights

You may ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information held about you, subject to applicable requirements. You can also withdraw optional analytics consent and raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact Shyam through the route above for requests concerning information he holds. Browser settings can remove stored preferences and cookies.
